Welcome to the Clutch Hitters Website!
The Clutch Hitters is an organized group of business and community leaders
founded in September of 2008.
Members of the group share a common interest
in baseball, in the Tampa Bay Rays
and in the continued presence of Major
League Baseball in the Tampa Bay area.
Clutch Hitters Mission Statement:
To promote a community group of active and loyal
fans in an organized structure that
will meet regularly to hear about
and to discuss the Tampa Bay Rays baseball team.
It will be the goal
of the group to engage in fun activities while also working with
and
supporting the Rays organization in a meaningful way.

2011 Final Meeting
The Clutch Hitters held
its final meeting of 2011 at the Whitney Club on December 1st. Rays'
Director of Baseball Operations, Chaim Bloom, was our guest speaker. He
provided insight into the upcoming 2012 season and future Rays' plans
for continuing their success on the playing field.
A status report on
the successful Outreach Campaign was provided by Chairman Bob Byelick.
Positive dialogue and publicity for a new stadium resulted and
continues. The Campaign will be a main project for the Group in 2012.
Members were encouraged to do their part. Project Chairman Joe Deluca is
the person to contact for talking points and reporting of contacts
made. Scott Brainard highlighted the 2011 Events as well as announced our
2012 Agenda which includes 2 trips to new stadiums and the 2nd Annual
Rays' Awards Luncheon.
